It is not always easy, but we strive to do what God wants us to do. How do we know what he wants us to do? By studying the Bible. We offer Sunday School classes for children, youth and adults. We also have Life Groups who meet on other days of the week.

Children

We work really hard here to give our children the best possible care from nursery on up!  We strive to protect them physically with safe, age-appropriate classrooms as well as background-checked and caring volunteers!

We also do our best to provide a Christ-centered learning environment with godly curriculum, fun lessons and interactive activities!

We do provide snacks, and we are well-practiced in working with parents in order to provide nourishment for children with dietary restrictions.  Our volunteers are excellent at helping find the best solution for every child’s needs!

Staffed classrooms are available each Sunday during both Sunday School (9:15am) and worship (10:45am).

Classrooms are available for:

Infants (Birth-24 months)
Pre-School (2-5 years)
Elementary (K-5th Grade)

If you have any Children’s Ministry questions, please email or call the church office.

Life Groups

Here are several weekly Life Groups offered at Newport Christian:

WOMEN

Every Tuesday there is a women’s Life Group at a member’s home.  This is an excellent time of fellowship and Bible devotion for women of all ages.  If you are a woman who would like to have spiritual guidance and godly relationships then this is for you!  The group meets at 6pm.  Check out your bulletin or call the church office for more info.

There is also a women’s Life Group at the church every Tuesday at 11:00am.  Bring a sack lunch and enjoy a time of learning and fellowship.

MEN

Every Monday there is a men’s Life Group that meets at the church.  This is a fun group that also enjoys studying God’s Word.  This group meets at 6pm.  Check out your bulletin or call the church office for more info.

EVERYONE

Wednesday there is an adult Life Group in South Beach that welcomes everyone.  This is an in-depth study of different aspects of our faith.  Topics range from a book study (i.e. the Book of John), a character study, theological study and more.  This group is lead by our resident professor and theologian and is great to bring your questions to!  They meet at 7pm.  Check your bulletin for the location, or contact the office.
